Well i have a little more humor to ad to everyone's day. The dog does stink worse today, and i could smell my truck in the parking lot at work before i could see it. The guys at work had some fun out of me with it..but thats alright. At least they were leaving someone else alone.

I did not want to get to close to the thing and have it spray me. Lucky i was able to call them off. If you want to hear a funny shunk story ask coolbrze... not his brightest moment.
Thanks old buddy :)

Long story short, I got sprayed on Easter Sunday a few weeks back just hrs. short of our party. Not good, not good at all. I used vinegar and dawn dish detergent and it came off pretty good. Don't listen to that old wives tail of tomatoe juice, it doesn't work, guess it doesn't have enough acid in it. I've been sprayed twice now and vinegar and dawn work wonders.

I was walking out of the woods one evening after rabbit hunting (without dogs). The path was blacktopped and I saw a skunk crossing in front of me so I stopped. I jogged past it after it crossed just to look behind me to see it coming up behind me. Jogged a little farther, it followed!!! Thank god for the ol' 870 express.

Between Ronnie & Brad, I guess I'm being called out on this one. I was trapping a nuisance skunk near a friends chicken coop. Fortunately/unfortunately, I got him the 1st night. Went to check the trap Easter Sunday before the party and I had him in there. I picked up the trap and started carrying it off and he let me have it. I've trapped many a skunk and have never had this happen before. The 1st time I was sprayed was under different circumstances. Anyways, before I had time to drop the trap, he had turned and squirted me real good. Got me on my right side from my boot to my hand to the right side of my face. Guess this little one's parents never told him he wasn't supposed to spray when he's in a trap ;)
