I've seen Larsen dogs in trials and they are excellent in them, they are pretty tough gun dogs as well. Too much nose?? Whats that??

hlc, imo means " in my opinion" too much nose usually equals " mouth" that will get you minused in the trials. as i said if you are looking for good hunting dogs and dont mind an early bark or two they are nice. when i drive a 100 miles or more to go to a trial i would rather be hauling a hound that doesnt take minus. a very good friend of mine has had 3800.00 worth of pups and running dogs and not one has fit our standards for the trials. just an opinion..
