Good people of the message board:
The time has come to launch the new Beagles Canada website. Since much of what Terry had and did for the other site was not available to us, and is set to expire at a definite date, it was decided to create a new site called beaglescanada.org. Most everything has been brought over from the old site, so very little has been lost. This new hosting company will allow for easier editing. We still own the .com domain name, and the old site will be around until mid September for anyone to get information and pictures they may want, but eventually the old site will go down, so no updates will be made to it. When this happens, or some time before it, the .com address will redirect all visitors to the .org site. Hopefully you will bookmark the .org site into your favorites and begin using it right away.
That being said, 2009 trial results and premium lists are coming about and there are special forms for you to use to help us present them on the website in a consistent manner. You will find these downloadable forms on the new Field Trialing page. As you look about the new site, you will see there are preloaded premium lists from the CKC website. This will get us started, but those ads don’t tell us things like closing times, entry fee, or running order. Our new form is very easy to use and includes all of the information beaglers want to know about an upcoming trial.
Some of the pages are still under construction, but for the most part, the site is quite functional. You will also see that the Canadian Nationals website has been redesigned and incorporated into the new BeaglesCanada site. No need to go to 2 different sites anymore.
When you first visit the new site, I would ask that you all click on “Misc” from the home page, then go to the Memorial page, where you will see a memorial to Terry McBride. We waited to launch the site until his memorial was written.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bev Cross, Todd DesChamps and Greg Steeves for their efforts in designing, and building this new site. Without them this would not have been a reality.
Okay, it’s time to take a look around at the new site. Jump in, start using the new forms to submit your trial ads and results, plus continue to use the message board….. ENJOY…. Here’s the new address:

Re: New beaglescanada site
Can't even view the message board? I joined the old board and was able to read it one time, then when I tried to return it wouldn't accept the pass word and that was the end of that. I respect your privacy but would it not be permissible to at least read the board with out being allowed to post unless a member?
I'll give it another go and hope it goes better this time.
FarWest told me you had gone to school by the military pack I was asking about. Was just going to ask if anyone knew where the beagles from that pack had went to?
Thanks for all your effort in putting on another board for the beagle fraternity...

Re: New beaglescanada site
Patch, nothing has changed about the board. It sits on a remote site like it always has and it's just linked from BeaglesCanada. I have to re-log in every so often, too. Terry set the board up that way before he passed. You might need to request a new password, and don't forget to check the "always keep me logged in" feature. I can work with Dan to adjust the privacy feature of the board. Check back a bit later.
