Alabama John,
You have watched one of the all time producers. He's in all of our bloodlines. Could you tell us a little more of what you seen out of Mt. Zion Pete?

River Valley
He wa brought here to a trial where we ran brace dogs. He ws giving an exhibition and came with a handler. Back then they didn't run near as close as they do now. They wanted to get closer. He was a right on the line, only a turn of the head off it and then back on and his body constantly kept moving forward at a good clip. Not a check. Middle of the hot day too. Was pretty and well built. Good mouth and was very impressive to us all. That line running is what we all wanted put in our pups. He was sure popular after that down here and that caused some to travel to breed to him and there were no interstates and few motels along the way. Everyone wanted a pup.
