Great article that kept my interest right to the end. I especially noted the true sportsman aspect of the article where the author stated, "Commitments elsewhere had me end the hunt at noon without shooting my trusty 20-gauge Ithaca Deerslayer pump. No matter. On hunts like these, one can get pumped as much by the repeated yelps and runs of the hounds as the thrill of the kill and cooking thereafter." Great picture as well, two smiling hunters with their 4 hunting buddies.

U DA MAN RICK!!! Folks you may not see Rick much anymore in the trialing world but i can assure you this he probably has as much if not more hound power now than he ever had. I wouldn't be afraid to put Blackie & Max up against anything!!! Congrats Rick, a man in it for all the right reasons.

Great Job Ricky G !!!! It seems like last week when we went to Tug Hill for the last article....those were the days! I am happy to see that you guys got some bunnies up and running and showed Will that there are still some real hounds left on this chunk of rock that can get the job done right. I wish you the best of luck at the upcoming Frank Privitere RABBIT DERBY and memorial hunt. Wish I coulda made the trip North. Take care and keep em running.

wish I could make it. I stayed at Rick`s last year for this hunt & it was a great time. A nicer guy & more knowledgeable beagler you will never meet. Mike P
