I dont have a starting pen and I am wanting to play around with my 3mo old pups.
I was talking to someone who said to get a tame rabbit and a (DWARF) rabbit would be the best because it would run away from the pups and not just sit there!
I would like to here your suggestions!
Thank you

Get a younger san juan they wont go in deep grass at first so they make great for sight chases in yard when your done just throw it back in a pen and do it again the next day this will work for about 3 days to a week then the rabbit will get used to the yard and take off. Make sure it's young a big rabbit will pounce the pups and can hurt them with the nails on there back feet.

They bite too, had a pup with a big ol hole bit through his ear, looked like he had a rabbit ear tag there. But then again that dog turned into the rabbit huntingest nut you ever seen, he hated them and every one he could get to was a goner.NoBull wrote:Get a younger san juan they wont go in deep grass at first so they make great for sight chases in yard when your done just throw it back in a pen and do it again the next day this will work for about 3 days to a week then the rabbit will get used to the yard and take off. Re: dwarf rabbits
Them rabbit attacks can be nasty. Sometimes a young rabbit gets tired of a pup too.
