Supplement for energy

Post by cburchett77 »

Does anyone know of a vitamin that a person can give to a dog for more energy when they start running their dogs a lot?

Chip i was reading up on this and found where it comes from and everything but it really doesnt say anything about how it works in my opinion as far as enhancing the ability ( eagerness ) seems to me its more for healing up?? is this something that will cause them to by mouthy like some other vitamins, has anyone used this before that you know or anyone on here used it??? im just curious, as adding more beneficial ingredients to help the dog achieve maximum benefits is always nice!!!

John;
Do not know if it will cause them to be mouthy or not as I just got it and I am starting to use it myself and I will see if it makes the Dogs mouthy or not. I have talked with a few people that are using it and they say it seems to work good for them.

The supplement above looks to be a good choice as the ingredients are good. I have used a supplement called NUPRO with very good success. I find it at Eastern Pet supply and it is pricey, but works very well. Have used it for some time now.

I have had bad success with b12 in making some coonhounds a little nuts, I mean aggressive and mean. I would not reccomend it off of what I have seen. JMO.

I have only had my Dogs on it about a week and so far have not noticed any difference in them being more Mouthy like you do with B-12 or some of the other stuff. I have noticed that they seem to have a little more energy than before. That is all that I have noticed so far. Will have it with me at the Little World Hunt.

My case of Dog Forte just came today. I have never used this product, but my dogs are getting some serious time on them right now, so I figured I'd give it a try. I had been wanting to try it for quite some time. If anyone is interested I have three other tubs that I could part with at this time. Our local hunting store is starting to carry it.

If a dog lacks energy, there are generally deeper issues to deal with and get right than a mere pill or vitamin supplement are going to fix ...
