Probably in the 250.00 range. I drove from Delaware to Huntington WV. and had a bit less than that in fuel, say, 225.00 but also had 18 hrs. riding time. If you know what you want and it's far enough away, save your time and wear and tear on your truck and have the shipping co. bring it to you. Hard on you though if your speculating on unknowns, then you have waaay more money in a hound than he will ever be worth! By the way we use Mary Ann, and have had nothing but good come out of it! Highly recommended.

Just like Walnut shade said, consider time and gas? I have shipped several and had several shipped in for me. I highly recommend it and would do it again without question. Mary Ann with Buckeye is first class! Are buying the pups, 2-3 for 250, off this board? The top bred ones I have bought have been 200-400. Not all have worked out, but some have.

mary ann at buckeye has picked pups up at my place, and she is who i would use in the future. ya hate to spend the money, but do it yourself and you spend about as much and have all the time/effort and wear and tear. it's not worth it. i suggest buckeye.

Id recommend Corky Burks. He just hauled me 2 puppies from Mississippi to Maryland.
He picked the dogs up monday and had them to me thursday. He only charged 300 for both. Beat everyone elses price by atleast $100.
O and he brought the dog to my house!!!!

He will answer his phone everytime u call and when he tells u he will be there thats when he's there.

Maryann from Buckeye hauling would do the same. She will ship 2 young pups for the price of one mature dog. Usually $280 for two pups. Or $280 for older pups and or adult dogs. I have shipped dogs I have sold using her and got a couple of dogsto me and she is as good as you can get and a pleasure to deal with....DH
