Tri-tronics Turn on plug

I put my tri-tronics 200 lite training collar today on my cousins dog that has a little problem with deer. We didn't get the opportunity to utilize the new trainer but when we got back to the truck after hunting about 3 hours and took the collar off the turn on plug was gone. Has anyone else experienced this problem and what was your solution to loosing the plug every time you went out?

I too have a set of the 200 Lite. My solution is to use some black electrical tape or a rubber band. You'd think I'd follow my own advice, but I've lost a few of the turn on plugs as well.
