SIR JOHN'S

Just wanted to know if anybody has ever heard of SIR JOHN'S dog feed.I went to my feed store today and was talkin to some men that have fox dogs.They said they use to feed there dogs diamond but found out this other feed worked out alot better for there needs. Just wanted to know if anybody has heard of it . Cost is around $16.00 for 50#

There was a group that came down to Texas years ago and tried to get it going on the market here. Seems that I remember it being a pretty good made feed made in the Midwest. Of course that was years ago and has probably changed hands a dozen times since then. Seems that I remember Art Booher marketing it. Go to the SPO website and I bet some over there will remember it. I think Art is in MS now with some other brand. ;) Price is right.

i use it with good results. was paying 24$ for a 40 pound bag of diamond dog food that was 30% protein and 20% fat. i now buy sir johns in a 50 pound bag that is 27% protein and 18% fat for 14$. not much difference in the level of fat and proteins, but it cost much less. i feed the same amount of sir johns that i did with the diamond and there was no weight loss and hounds perform just as well in the field and the stool is much easier to clean off the concrete floors. the ingredients are about the same. i'll use sir johns unless i find something better at the same price. hope this helps.
