Dog Food Price

With everything else skyrocketing in price but my paycheck, what are some of your areas dog food prices like? I am currently feeding Sportsmix, but the price JUMPS up every year.

Yellow bag Sportsmix (50 lbs.) ------- $25 out the door.

Black bag Sportsmix (50 lbs.) -------- $25 out the door.

Just curious if there is anyone near me that can help (supply in bulk), and curious about how much others are paying.

Schag be glad you still get a 50lb bag for that price!! My price is the same but only 40lb bags now!! It was the same price when it was 50lb bags so lost food and saved NO money!!

Hi-Standard Purple 50# = $25 OTD,

I use to be able to get it a year ago for $20 per bag OTD buying 2+ skids at a time. We were told there is no longer a break on bulk so I just buy a bag or two at a time now from a local feed store as I need it.

I guess everyone is saying what I thought they were going to. I can remember a couple years back as well buying the same bag of Sportsmix for about 20 out the door, now it is 5 dollars more! Five years ago it was less that 20...and the story continues. I guess with gas prices, everything is going up. May have to cut back on dogs to afford it. Thanks for the replies so far.

hi standard here is $23 for 50# 26/18,,last summer i feed pride 24/20 its $18.50 but i couldnt keep the weight on hounds

PAbeagler- Is the Blue Buffalo really that much better than other feeds. I have always thought it must be somethin special for the price. Not knockin anyone for what they feed but my dogs will never eat something that expensive. My wife would not let me keep dogs if it cost that much to feed them!

Hi Standard #50 26/18 $ 22.50 a bag by the skid or more delivered . Or drive to Covington OH pick it up add time and gas price to the cost .There is 9 people pick it up at my house for the same price.

I feed Black Gold black bag $28.56 a bag out the door 50 lb. I was feeding Pride black bag 50 lb for $17.50 a bag but my dogs didn't do as good as they do on the Black Gold so I went back to the Black Gold although they did seem to have energy on the Pride but just didn't hold the weight like they do on BG.

Most places here the sportsmix in the black bag is 25 or 26. There is one little feed store where this old lady sells it for 18.75. She don't make anything off of it. I feed pro plan performance to the trial dogs. 35 pounds for 43
