I'm interested in that Cedar Beck breeding. I've heard really great things about Cedar Beck Oliver. Do you know if he's from Michigan?

Jmo but I dont really think there is a whole lot of consistency in any bloodline now days. The lines are mixed up. Everyone is breeding to the fc or ifc without ever watching them run. I am guilty of this as well.
For instance (patch line)
Olny the man who breed them hounds new how he breed them. What he breed for, and how he would have crossed them.
Imo there are no longer patch hounds because not noing how he would have culled, breed,or kept the dogs he had. no one who is breeding these dogs. new how he would have seen them. With this said just cause a hound says its patch breeding. Dose not make it is a patch hound. nNo one nows if it would have been what the man himself would have kept. There for putting inconsistances or breed bad traits into the line. When I say bad traits. I mean traits that the man himself would not have breed.
alot of trial hounds all go back to branko. How many of these would branko breed too,or would be what he called a stud.
All this is jmo but hope it helps u understand breeding a bit more
