My dog cut his pad, 1 1/2 months ago, I used a product called liquid skin, which I purchased at a drug store. It worked fine as long you apply multiple coats. There is another product on the internet, I am not sure of the name, but if you do a search on the internet, you should find it, it is in a camoflouge bottle, it may be called cut heal, and is approx $8.00 US

Double D, There is a protein drink mix called Spiru-Tein that seemed to work great for cut pads. Before you think I'm nuts let me explain. My hound cut his pads pretty badly one time and I was looking for help. Joe West, who frequents this board (and may offer his advice) told me to try this drink mix poured over my hounds food. He has a friend that is a nurse in a burn unit, and they have been promoting healing with the use of this protein drink. Now I was pouring about 8 ounces of the stuff over my hounds food daily for about a week, BUT, Joe told me I was over doing it. In any event, his pads healed rather quickly compared to what I was told it would take.

If any of the info is inaccurate I apologise, and I hope Joe West offers his help, and maybe a reccomended dosage schedule. The bottom line is it really works.

Good luck,
Bob

Double D, If your asking me, I bought the stuff at a health store, but you can probably get it elsewhere, (drugstore or grocery store?) or do an online search if you can't find it locally. Just search for "Spiru-Tein".

Good luck,
Bob
