Just under $70 into it....hope to get couple years out of it. Put vinyl coated wire floor so nothing to hold moisture. Sample rugs $1 each for winter months. Very light, 1 man removal.

Nice job on the box Dave but I liked your old way of hauling them around, you're the only guy I've ever seen haul dogs that way.

With my new Rigid table saw, skill saw, nail gun and drill it didn't take over 3 hours. Putting on the hardware is the most time consuming.

That is a nice looking box....but it reminds me of the King boys box back in 2002 or 2003. I would kindly suggest that you make absolute sure you have proper air holes. I still remember when Rich and Mike King made a box like this in shop class, loaded it up with dogs and headed to the US in Beaver Dam....between Michigan and Kentucky, the dogs died from no air.

I hated to even make this post.....but I would hate to see the scene repeated because none of us mentioned it.

Maybe you could add a couple of soffit vents to the back......if there is none.

Wrong side,
Had the same thing happen to me 10 0r 12 years ago at the world hunt. Got to the world, 3 dogs dead from suffocation.
Bad day for sure.

Really nice box. I would increase the air hole size.

I have holes in both sides and the floor is wire allowing air flow, but better to error on the side of caution.

I only use box in winter months.....when you guys had dogs die was it winter or summer or doesn't it matter?

I PURCHASED A MILLCREEK BOX FROM JIM WALES NEAR MERRILL MI. THAT WAS A CUSTOM MADE 3 DOOR SIDE BY SIDE BOX AND REALLY LIKE IT. GOOD LUCK I AM SURE YOU WILL LIKE IT. SAW LONE PINES BOX LAST WEEK WHAT A GREAT IDEA, AND STILL LEFT ALOT OF ROOM AROUND IT FOR GEAR.
