Last year I had the oppertunity to demo both the Delta and the Delta Sport. Both units are similar but the Sport turns into a bark collar with the push of a button and that is nice for the hounds that like to bark in the dogbox and you get 2 collars in one unit.
Both units are water proof and shock proof. They are also a little smaller than the Tri-Tronics sport and sport basic that have been replaced by the Garmins. I don't recall what the range is but I never had to use it past 100 yards but it works alot farther than that.
