Couple bigger chunks of Apple in the cage and some small pieces making a trail on the outside leading to the opening. Works like a charm!

I've tried different baits but apples have the best results. Out of all the apples I've tried , red delicious have worked the best for me.

It will take a few days for the rabbits to get used to the traps being there. Gala's worked best for me, leave some 3-3 1/2 ft away from trap to get a taste, just a slice. Wood traps work best, never could get them to go in wire traps. Put the traps somewhere the rabbits will feel safe, next to cover, but not in it so u can check it without coming up to it.
Thanks,
Bob

Too much clover and green vegetation out around my neck of the woods. When the snow is on a smelly apple works best.
