Grennwell's Reggie questions

Post by Bluestone Beagles »

First of all thanks for adding me to the site........Now my question........

1-How many champions has Reggie produced?
2-What traits did Reggie throw into his pups?

Thanks....J.R.

Welcome to the board.
Reggie enjoyed such a degree of popularity that he was bred to a lot of females.Unless someone was extremely familiar with a large number of dogs directly out of him it would be hard to say what traits were being seen that came from Reggie himself.Maybe Terry Gray would be able to comment on what he saw directly out of him.
I've owned two females sired by Reggie. One was a Syris McGhee bitch and the other a line bred Blue Ninja bitch. Also owned a female out of Reggie's litter mate brother Turbo Charged Thunder Blue and a Haunted Hill Shaker bitch.Have a hunting buddy that has a male and a female out of Reggie that I have run with extensively.Another friend with a 8 year old Reggie son.
I would say that all these dogs showed good hunt, proper use of mouth, medium nose, intelligence, easily handled, easily broke from trash or naturally trash free, people oriented, medium fast to fast foot and a ton of stamina or bottom with a no quit mentality.
I've been line breeding the Blue Ninja dogs since 1995 and these are the traits i see in them.Reggie's bottom side is straight Blue Ninja.I'm not that familiar with his top side and the Turbo breeding and their traits.Maybe others could comment on them.
Reggie dogs have enjoyed a lot of success in the A.K.C. Mid-West S.P.O. trials and in A.R.H.A. Little Pack trials.
There are several Reggie sons that are proving to be good reproducers in their own right.I now own a Reggie grandson and a Reggie granddaughter that continue to exhibit the same traits I've seen previously.
As always JMHO.
