HB271 - Prohibits the confinement of Pregnant Sows In Florida last year,
HSUS was there to ban confinement of pregnant sows and now they are here in
Maryland to try the same thing. Why do farmers confine pregnant sows? So
they don't eat or injure their young during and, for a short period, after
birth. What does HSUS know about hogs? About as much as they know about
trapping - NOTHING! You need to express your opinions to the the Senate
committee members, click the link below to contact them.

SENATE BILL 271
File Code: Agriculture
Sponsored By: Senators Grosfeld, Britt, Jones, Pinsky, and Stone
Entitled: Agriculture - Confinement of Pregnant Sows - Prohibition

Click below to read text of SB271:
http://mlis.state.md.us/2003rs/bills/sb/sb0271f.rtf

Attention: The next BILL is from Delegate Frush, she has introduced her
bill HB365 with 25 co-sponsors. The wording is not up yet but it shows it
is the same wording as HB377 from last year. We will check it out as soon
as it is there! It is going to take a lot of work to stop the passages of
this years anti bills! PLUS we believe you will see more anti wildlife
related bills surface during this session.
