Well i dont no how to thank all of you for the continuing prayers that you have been saying for my family. Maria's up and walking with help from her theripest's, she's starting to talk and show some emotions. She had a very good day today. She will be in the U.W. Madison hospital for quite some time yet , but we are making progress. She told me today she misses her puppy MissEmily, she was one of the dogs we took to the trail.
Again thank you from the bottom of
my heart and keep up with those
prayer chains

Tom, did her puppy survive the accident? Is there anything we beaglers can do to get you some dogs to "fill in" (I know they can't be replaced) for the ones that didn't survive the crash?
Perhaps a new pup might give her some additional incentive and something to look forward to.
So glad she's making progress. Send her our love - we'll continue the prayers.

Thanks so much Bev. I know i haven't met alot of you on this board, but just by talking to all of you and knowing are common interest im sure we would be friends anyways. Your concerns meen alot to my family. Unfortionatly i did lose one of my best gun dogs. But maria's puppy and the other 2 dogs made it thru, a little bit bumped and bruised but their doing fine now. Im going down to the hospital tomorrow to see her. It is a 4 hour drive for me. Ive been trying to take care of my 8 year old son Dominic, and still find time to go and visit my daughter. I have to bum rides because i can't drive yet with this broken leg of mine. Thanks so much, I will keep you posted on Maria's progress

Glad to hear you and your daughter are doing better. I think about you two often and can't imagine myself in your situation. I would be heartbroken looking at my daughter in a hospital bed. Best of luck, and I will continue to keep you guys in my prayers.
