Thanks to all those that came to the North American and made this hunt a success! There are some very kind words on this thread about our club. I'm on the board of this club and I can tell you one thing, we are a small group but we all have something in common: we love beagles and we love beagling. Yes, there was work to be done but I never heard one member say it was too much work! We have a great president and vice president and very good cooks plus a small number of hard-working club members. It's a great club and the members all get along.... what else could a person want? Oh, maybe some rabbits to run, I believe all will say we had rabbits to run!!! Did we have a few problems? YES, we talked and we need to utilize our parking area and cast site better because of our limited space on a big hunt, the rain, did I mention the rain, THE RAIN!! we could probably use a speaker system for the large crowd. And probably some other areas could be perfected. Would like to thank all the judges that helped out at the hunt, you did a great job!! I believe we learned alot at our first big hunt and we also believe we can do better the next time! We are looking forward in the years to come of holding another big hunt, we hope that happens. Thanks to all, we hope you enjoyed yourselves, met some very nice people and hope to see all at the next hunt. dboman

According to what I have heard about your dogs Jimmie, things would have been more complicated for the winners this year!!! I hear you have some good dogs, looking forward to seeing them run one of these days. Thank you for the kind words, will pass them on to the club. dboman
