Noticed today that Version 4.11 is now available at http://www.geocities.com/willowind_dals/pedigree.html . For those just getting this at the beginning of the thread or before this should be an upgrade!

If you upgrade what does it do with the lists you already have? Does it mess with anything or do you have to redo any of the stuff you have already input? I have put a lot of work in to my stuff and would hate to have something happen to it.

Have upgraded before with no problems. You can always save your pdg. file to a disk (recomended) or separate folder to reinstall to your pedigree directory. I learned the hard way due to a hard drive failure a couple of years ago, lost thousands of pedigrees  Actually this thread topic got me going at it once again :)!

OK. I sent it to my laptop and it worked with the upgrade. So at least now if something happens I can just send it back to my other computer. Thanks

I am just starting to use wincanis, and I was wondering if anyone is still willing to share some pedigrees? I love looking at pedigree and would appreciate any info someone is willing to send. You can email me at mtnwaykennel@hotmail.com .

Thanks a billion, Mike

Know what you mean about losing your data base Gene. I must be a slow learner lost mine 3 times in 2 years over 25,000 dogs each time. Lot of time to just type that many in [ one fingered ] let alone do the research to locate them again. About 7 months each time. Before I started using a disc to export my file too. Price you pay when your teen age grand Kids get on your computer all the time.
send me pedigrees
