I questioned this because I have a FC nearly 3 yrs old. He does a nice job and likes the front but will slot up and wait for a slip as well.

I kenneled an 8 mo. old pup with him, nearly the same size. At feed time the pup left his bowl and challenged the older male for his food. He simply left his bowl and went over to the other one, only to be challenged again, the third time he put him down then ate the spilled food and let the pup go back to the full bowl.

Brains or submissive behavior ?
