Look back over the years and pedigrees and see if you can find any that can match that on a pups produced and pups that finished percentage. How many dogs and people are stilled influenced by what these two dogs ran like and produced. Many still say they were among the best they ever saw or pups out of them were. Very few people ever knew just what bad luck John New had in getting pups out of Crystal and she only raised 7 but she still made this kind of mark on beagle history.

Maravic's Blue Ninja had a reputation for producing some outstanding bitches that then also seemed to produce.
I've heard it said that Ninja produced stonger females [generally speaking ] then he did males.
Mark Trudel and Vic Costanza have both commented in the past as to the strength of the bitch line from Ninja and those guys should know.
Jack Blum from Ontario,Canada stated that he took a big jump in the quality of his hounds when he took Ninja bitches and bred them to Haunted Hill Shaker.I believe he produced 17 A.K.C. Field Champions from those crosses [alot of them bitches ].

A female named Rhonda from the kennels of Plowboy. He has some more good ones too but I have heard alot of good things about the Rhonda dog.

As far as I`m concerned, DON HOOG has the best bitches consistantly than anyone I know of. You don`t hear him bragging about it, and truthfully he don`t need to brag. The records speak for themselves. If you don`t know Don, his kennel name is "TALK ABOUT".
