do the cyotes ever turn on the dogs and kill them?

NO, we have never had a dog even get seriously injured by a coyote. If anything when the coyote stops it's game on for the dogs. They have killed 4 coyotes on their own since we have switched to Patch hounds.

Now those guys on the other topics say no beagle is going to kill a coyote , lol thats why i dug up some of those old topics , BTW , great looking dogs , those are some stoutest , grittiest looking hounds i have ever seen , love the coyote pics , keepem coming

next time3 i get a mean spirited patch dog might try to make a yote dog out of him. i guess i prolly need 2 oe 3 tho. incase they come into a pack.

Preacher, these dogs are not mean spirited, they just hate coyotes. Around other hounds and people they are fine.

Packmaster, multi purpose doesn't work. They either need to be fox and coyote dogs or rabbit dogs or you will run into problems.

yes i understand you reddog .....i have some that are very laid back wouldnt hurt a fly. others i have had better not a dog look at their feed bowl ,or even think about grwoling around them or its on . if you had him tied ona lead with another dog they better not give him a mean look lol.. i sold one of those while back he was 15 inch also i prefer them a 14ish closer to 14.

just how big are they dogs you are running the yotes with . chucks got some grey hounds patches lol.. about 18 that be good for that ... i am ducking now chuck go ahead and throw .

The Patch Hounds that we use for coyotes are between 15" and. 17"
