I JUST RAN ACROSS THIS THREAD FOR THE FIRST TIME,AFTER READING ALL THE POSITIVE COMMENTS FROM PEOPLE THAT THEMSELVES OWN SOME OF THE RABBIT HOUNDS IN THE WORLD,IT MAKES ME FEAL GOOD.SO I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR SUCH KIND WORDS ABOUT BANDIT.
I AM GLAD THAT SOMEONE POSTED THIS THREAD CAUSE THAT IS WHAT I TELL PEOPLE WHEN THEY CALL ME AND ASK ABOUT BANDIT,CAUSE EVERYONES GONNA SAY THEY OWN THE BEST RABBIT DAWG,SO I TELL THEM TO ASK JUDGES THAT HAVE SEEN HIM GO,ASK PEOPLE THAT RAN AGAINST HIM WEEK AFTER WEEK IN THE WINNERS PACK,THEY WILL ALL TELL YOU THE SAME THING,BANDIT IS A TRUE RABBIT DAWG.HE IS SMART AS HELL,EVEN AT 9 YRS OLD,HE STILL HAS WHAT IT TAKES AND HE THROWS THAT IN HIS PUPS,THE TOTAL PACKAGE,SPEED,NOSE,CHECK POWER,HUNT AND THE BRAINS TO MAKE IT ALL WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE OTHER DOGS LOOK STUPID AT TIMES,ESPECIALLY IN TOUGH SENTING CONDITIONS.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IS MORE OF THE JUDGES THAT JUDGED HIM IN AKC TO GIVE THIER FEEDBACK ON BANDITS PERFORMANCE THE DAY OR DAYS THEY JUDGED HIM......
THANK YOU
DANNY VANSICKLE

Re: Talk to me about F.C. Howard's Bandit
Hello Danny
The comments on Bandit have just reinforced my thoughts on using him as a stud.I bought a female pup from Vic Costanza in '93 out of Ninja x Greenbriar Charity and have been linbreeding the Ninja /Jack of all Trades blood ever since and like it a lot.
In '95 Scott Cummings from N.Y. had Curious George [ Iron Eagles sire ] at his place and I got to see him run at a LP trial and he was nice to watch. At the LP Nationals in '03 I spoke with Branko and Freida Krpan at length and asked them their thoughts on breeding to Eagle or Rabble Rouser as Dexter had them both at stud at his place. They encouraged me to use Eagle on my Ninja bitches but alas I never got it together to make the drive up to Dexter's.
Bandit has as much linebred Jack of all Trades behind him and as close as any current stud I'm aware of.The comments about his level headedness remind me of the comments Vic Costanza made in Ninja's stud ads when he stated that Ninja "had extreme concentration while running his rabbit and never got rattled ".
Is Bandit going to be at Ryan's for awhile yet? I have a nice R.Ch. out of Reggie x double Syris McGhee bitch that I am very much hoping to get to Bandit in April.
With the blue dogs behind Bandit do you ever see any blue pups from him?
