Dean, you need to update your collar. When they first came out there was a problem with the collar not turning the whole way off. The update fixes that.

I run both the dc40and the tri tron on one collar.i took the dc40off its collar and flipped it
around so the attenna runs the other way.i used a 1/4 hole punch and made new holes in the collar just like the ones in. It when you take it off
the tt slide rite on.i set it to the dogs neck.i then used cable ties to attach the attenna back to the collar.
one warning-dont cinch the cable ties so hard you cut into the attenna or you will be sorry.
i have a female with a real skinny neck and its no problem
Mine are set up identical to that with the Johnson trackers. I had the trackers customized with screws in the back so they could mount on the TT collar. Then I zip tie the antenae just like you did. I run 13" females and it works much better than 2 collars. Less agrivation collaring up dogs too....
