Folks, most of you know I have been down for 4 months. These hounds have not been in the field during those 4 months. They have been out in the yard which is about 1/2 acre chain link several times a week. I have lots of holes dug to prove it. lol

Anyway, these fat, out of shape, slow hounds got to run a rabbit or two the first of December and they ran for about 3 hours. You really can't see the dogs alot but u can hear them and I did get some video of the rabbit running. I mostly sat on top of the ranger and watched. Was a great day with the sun shining and the hounds running. In the pack was Dream(my fat house dog who never quits even though she is bringing up the rear) 10, Cindy and Dolly who are 9, Lilly 5(she is the one faster than the rest), Blaze 4, and Sophie 3.
It wasn't pretty but they hunted their hearts out and had several good runs. If I had had a gun I could have shot 3 if I wasn't shooting a 410. lol

The video is a bit too long but you get the picture. I was out where I loved to be.

It was a great day for me!!!

Here is the video.

I just got back from hare hunting in Nova Scotia and had a blast. Am headed down to Georgia next week for a hunt. I am back and I thank God everyday.
