the pups i posted on the board for larry howard, the ombre sire is directly outta ombre and hare bell blue too

that is my point of this hole post, there is the same blood they have all over the place for a fraction of the price, why pay three times the money tobuy from them?

i have two other buddies that bought runnin dogs from them, they are junk, the guys hate them, they contacted branko, freida offered to send them two pups each,of brankos choice, but they want these guys to pay shipping on the runnin dog back to them and then the two pups down here,by the time they got done, they would have over 1,000 in each pup

If any of you are interested, my hunting buddy has a female off Tuffy he would sell reasonable. The dam is all Branko bred. This is a nice running female, just not what he is looking for.

THIS IS AN INTERESTING POST EVERY ONE HAS OPINIONS,THE ONLY QUESTION I HAVE IS ABOUT THE OLD BLOOD WHEN YOU SAY OLD BLOOD ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ANNA'S ANN @ .DINGUS CROSSES.MOST OF MY HOUNDS CARRY 4 -6-OR 8 CROSSES OF THIS SUCH AS -BLIZZARD-CALL GIRL-STREAKER. BUT THEY ARE NOT UP CLOSE 4-5-OR 6 GEN.THAT IS WHAT I CALL OLD BLOOD........AND I DON'T THINK MANY WILL EVER ACCOMPLISH WHAT THE BRANKO'S HAVE IN THE BEAGLE WORLD.BE IT GOOD OR BAD...HEY J.M.O.

Branko has sold hundreds of pups over the years and I am sure the beaglers who were satisfied with their pups far outweigh the few sour grapes that come on here every opportunity they get and badmouth the Krpans. When these sourgrapes accomplish what Fried and Branko have you'll get my ear. It is eay to sit behind a computer screen and libel peoples good name.

Have a wonderful day. :D

...and there is two sides to every story. If I ever get the chance i will find out the other side. ;)

Rufus,

I believe the Branko dogs run in various CKC hunts in Canada including Large Pack.
I have seen the Awful Bawlin and other strong blood up there competing and winning. Here is a link.

first of all..my post was not draggin anybodies name through the mud..i am sure there are plenty of satisfied customers ...i am happy with the hound i have from brankos kennel...all i said was the truth of my story which was i thought they were rude when i spoke to them ...maybe that is just the way they are...bottom line on my opinion is the old branko blood was by far some of the best there was period...i just aint seeing that quality anymore unless it is coming from an outcross...for example speedy sport was an out cross producing nice hounds...they also bred to harecharmer ringo and those pups are placing all over canada...i honestly just dont see the true ability coming from there stud dogs of today as came from the foundation stock of theres...AGAIN JUST MY OPINION...take it or leave it...tracy :D ...also again i aint doggin nobody..wht you like and what i like are prolly two complete opposites....

Anyone on the board see dogs like Speedy Sport and Striker run a rabbit or hare? I've heard people trash both of them, and I've heard one of them highly praised as one of the best. How do they rank with the all time great hounds not as producers but as performers?

"THIS IS AN INTERESTING POST EVERY ONE HAS OPINIONS,THE ONLY QUESTION I HAVE IS ABOUT THE OLD BLOOD WHEN YOU SAY OLD BLOOD ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ANNA'S ANN @ .DINGUS CROSSES"

This is a true statement, the old blood is Anna's Ann, Dingus, etc. No branko blood when he started, it was the choices he made with the dogs that were around at the time. From my understanding he had a lot of input that is not talked about. From his kennel came some great dogs because of the choices. I doubt he bred avg. dogs to dogs he wasn't sure about.

Another statement was made about not as many winners from his kennel now. Could this be due to the fact that some people studied what he did, then did their own research and now there are better dogs to run in trials if this is how you judge his dogs?

I have never bought a dog from them and I don't think I will however, besides the blueback female all my dogs are Branko, Ninja, etc. I feel I can breed what I have and have just as good of a shot at above average dogs.

Bottom line, the dogs I have seen about 6 or 7 that came straight from his kennel do a good job. Some are just med speed dogs that can run a rabbit and some can flat out fly. He has had an impact on the beagle breed that will be around for a long time.

Are the pups worth the price - thats up to you. Do you think every dog in anyones litter is going to be the next FC? I believe we are smart enough with all the information around to make the same choices he made a long time ago, maybe better choices.

I agree with Yellowdog. I haven't heard or read alot of good things about the dogs coming out of the Branko kennel.

very hard to find any line of hounds that havent been influenced somewhere by a branko hound. really an outstanding accomplishment due to the fact that the most part it was done without the communications we have of today. Any breeder of any kennel will produce duds/culls/etc. but its that diamond in the rough that makes the search so worthwhile.
