Gonna sound like I am patting myself on the back. But our female Hurryup Lady won a world hunt and a nationals.
She has been bred a couple of times she was 2007 top reproducing female of the year for ukc. She has produced many ch. dogs, dogs that won or placed in the challenge series. this year the first and second place females were littermates from her.
Pups from her have also placed at the nationals.
One weekend she had three pups all make winners pack at three diffrent state hunts.
She has only raised a couple of litters. Her percentage of producing ch is way up there. Anyway she is a good producer nand a heck of a rabbitt dog.

hay hurryup is she akc reg? if she is i will consider her a top hound but for the guys who run grade dogs for all we know it could be part walker or grey hound. my buddy has a beagle that is unbeatable it will catch every rabbit it runs if it chooses to stay up. the olny problum is it is part springer spanial the best rabbit dog i have ever seen it would demolish any pure bred beagle. she run with her eyes as much as her nose she can see and chase rabbit 100 yard in front of her in the open. she has eyes like a eagle, but if percy is akc reg i would love to get a pup out of her. she is one of the toughest hounds in the country from what i have herd

Id match a lot of your so called grade dogs up against any akc reg hounds ,you use to be able to buy dogs at kenton swappers day and also purchase a set of akc papers for cheap also to go along with theGRADE DOG they just purchased

Yes Lady is AKC.She is Blueback and Ole Bad Cliff. and Yes Percy which is a diffrent female and also a World Ch is also AKC. She just raised a litter of 8 from Reggie. But we can't call her a reproducer yet her pups are to young and unproven.
But I go along with the statements above I have owned and seen some awesome beagles that were not AKC.

i have herd nothing but good things out of percy in fact i have herd she is the top bitch in the country by a few guys. and her cridentials speak for themselfs. i am just saying there is no way to trace back the generations of grade hounds. like i said before my buddys dog will out run any pure breed beagle when she is run up or just layed up it dosent matter. she looks like a beagle and is olny 15 in he could run her in the hunts but she is half springerspanial. we shoot a ton of rabbits over her each year the ones we dont shoot she will catch. never seen any dog catch as many rabbits as her

My vote would go to FTCH Getemout's Singing Cricket (a Canadian hound). She's 10 years old now and still running well, although she's been bred for the very last time (spayed now). She has had 4 litters and pups from the last litter are too young to be trialed yet.
First litter She Produced:
IFC Moulison's Bounty Hunter
Moulison Saucy Duchess needs one win to finish
Second litter She Produced:
FTCH Swampsing'n Pearl
FTCH Swampsing'n Laser
IFC Swampsing'n Flicka
FTCH Swampsing'n Lyza
Swampsing'n Magnum (still placing but needs wins)
Third Litter She Produced:
FTCH Swampsing'n Jimney Cricket
Swampsing'n Wultzer needs a few points for FTCH
FTCH Swampsing'n Rowdy Goudy
Swampsing'n Darby needs 2 wins
Swampsing'n Sally need a win I think
Swampsing'n Annie needs a win I know for sure

So her tally so far is 2 IFC's and 5 other FTCH's plus a couple more sure to finish. She's owned by Chris and Pauline Pawson and was bred by Jim Merritt. This is the most FTCH's (7) I've ever heard of from one bitch (and more to come). Terry McBride
