I say to the hell with the anti's too but this bad situation in the Beagling world just gives the as???les more fire power to get some of the dumb things passed in our Goverment

This is one thing that I know the Antis are worried about getting what they are doing out there. Their Anarchist ways of thinking and the way that they advertise violence for the protection of animals. There are now people out there monitoring their websites and posting what they have to say as they have been doing to us for years. As an example here in Oregon 3 members of ALF were arrested and jailed for crimes they committed in Multnomah and Lane counties. The Prosecution Showed where they were using terrorist tactics by monitoring their website and Posting what they had to say!!! So this just goes to show that we to can use their same tactics against them By Placing this type of thing in an open Forum We show them that we are no longer going to hide in the Shadows but actually stand up for what we feel is right and what is our heritage So I agree To heck with the Antis let em watch!!! BUT we also need to speak out and take a stand in what we believe someone once said RIGHT MAKES MIGHT! This is not about the Antis it is about truth And Fairness And What we believe being able to speak the truth without being scorned or punished for it So I say If you don’t want to know then don’t read the posts! I too know what it means to give your heart and soul, your nights and days, blood sweat and tears for the betterment of a beagling organization, only to be tossed away like yesterdays trash. Fortunately, I've had the life experiences to know you never put your eggs into one basket.

Pappy, I'm glad to see you caught the reference to libel suits, too. LMAO. It's only libelous if it's a lie, and personal opinions don't count. (Can you imagine the presidential campaigns coming under this same scrutiny?)

Hilltop, I hear what what you're saying, I just believe if one changes his actions out of fear of the anti's, then the anti's just won another match. I don't bend to acts of terrorism such as these. Doesn't matter if it comes from without or comes from within, if you know what I mean. This club tried for months and months to settle this thing face-to-face, but it wasn't to be. I also agree we will be judged by One, but that's no reason to not stop a child from running into the street, or not take the car keys away from a drunk. We still have to look after each other here on earth.

Wow!!!!!! Over a 1000 views on this thread. Must be more than just a few that's interested in what's going on with ARHA and how they handle this problem. Wonder how many of those are trialers or new to beagling? Might make people want to rethink several things to solve this problem.
HANG IN THERE RANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIGHT FOR WHAT'S RIGHT AND YOUR BELIEFS!!!!!!!!! I would speak my mind too if was in a club that conducted itself like you have stated.Why was the books not opened to the club?Why couldn't the president get a copy of the by-laws and a members list?Why was the secretary afraid to hold the meetings and make the needed changes.All of these makes the outsiders wonder if something was taking place.IT sounds like the club was headed on the right track to deal with the issues(which seemed minor) and something stopped all of that.Every member has a right to speak his/her mind at club meeting and settle issues that might arise with the club. That's why the club has officers and board members. A club or organization is what it members make of it! Word gets around quickly when a club doesn't do things right.
I wish all those involved the best and maybe this can be resolved quickly and we can all get back to what we enjoy.

Hmmmmm the AKC doesn;t use breed inspectors do they??? No papers,,, no running,, now correct me if I'm wrong here.

Randy, I called you a class act on day 1, but I think this is VENDETTA TIME what do you think???

I'd be happy to. First off, the people here won't tear NKC/ARHA down. If that happens, it will happen at the top. (See buck stops here post) As far as where can they take their hounds? Well, many are also AKC registered so they can go there, but the ones who aren't can run in another registry that's been around since 1898 - you may have heard of them; The United Kennel Club. They are still building their foundation stock for the beagle program and will accept non-AKC beagles as long as they meet the breed standard. Their trials are petty fun, too.

Not at all, Crew Chief. With over 1,000 registered members and no telling how many guests, I've only really banned one person. You should know by now I can't take a lot of dishing.

An organization, like the ARHA, cannot and will not survive if the leadership has the attitude like I just read on top of page 1. It's fine, get your side out but to tell folks "if they don't like it, get out

Poster, I think you have it all wrong. Todd was merely trying to say that his orginization would be glad to accept beaglers who wish to switch over.
He was quoting part of Del's letter, which by the way smacks of threats.
So far, I've found Todd to be a pretty likeable fellow, and I suspect I will be getting to know him. I'll be one who will not support ARHA with my money.
