Its been a heck of a race with steady running all day. "Jack" has had the lead all day quick on the check and getting plenty of the front to win the trial. Trimmer has been in a close second with Pete right behind him. The next hour will be tough to call but I see IFC Jack Of All Trades hanging in there for the win. I see IFC Mt. Zion Pete finishing a close second and IFC Ables East Coast Trimmer in third. From there it was equal across the board with Dingus and Elms Jiggs leaving lasting impression in my mind! LOL!!! LMAO. We will have to run these hounds more often this was a real joy to watch

Handle Some More Dogs
Ok time to handle some more dogs. This is a close run but we gotta pick a winner. For the handlers having to pick up be proud Id love to own any one of them, but just not their day. Have to try em again next time.
This is how they stand as of know, with time left.
Jack of All Trades has maintained the lead.
Mt. Zion Pete has moved to second place and seems to be gaining on the leader.
Dingus Macrae is following a close third.
Ables East Coast Trimmer is holding fourth place.
Turbo Powered by Prop and Brankos Ali Babba are tied for fifth.
Northway Spur and ELms Jiggs are tied for sixth
Taylors Sock It To Me and Mark Vs Ace in the hole tied for seventh.
Handlers Please Handle Remaining dogs
Wow slowly but surely we are winding down this hunt. It is close and getting closer all the time. Getting hard to judge i tell ya.
For the finally, please take the remainding ten hounds and place them for the finish. I will tally the votes via reverse order. (ex. 1st = 10 pnts. and 10th = 1 pnt.) Using the score up to this point I will begin tallying the order of placement and a winner will be chosen. Time will be called with in the next couple of days or until placement is overwhelmingly apparent.

My vote
Ok since we are calling the dogs then I get to vote for mine. lol Here they go.
1) Mt. Zion Pete (backbone of my kennel) (sorry Lynn stole your line)lol
2) Northway Spur (same as above)
3) Jack of All Trades
4) Elms Jiggs
5) Taylors Sock IT To ME
6) Dingus Macrae
7) Ables East Coast Trimmer
8) Turbo Powered by Prop
9) Brankos Ali Babba
10) Mark V's Ace in the hole
Ten points in this format will count as 1 point towards the score. (ex. Jack of All Trades has thirteen points. Mt. Zion Pete has eight, so Pete needs fifty points to tie Jack.) It is gonna be hard to catch Jack because he will still score points with this point system. He has lead the whole time so it is only fair, but the other dogs are not far behind and can move up and possibly win. Good Luck to the hounds and lets finish this run.

What a great day in the field. These hounds are all fine hounds lacking nothing. I think it came down more to score than any other for making my decision. Each hound has ran a great race and will be remember for many days to come.
