Lynn, I don't think I ever had the pleasure of seeing Buzz run, but from the pages of this thread it sounds like he was one special dog. Add my condolences to the others. I know how it feels to lose an old trusted beaglefriend who always made you proud.

Saw him pick a check in a dry dusty road and flat foot ol brrr rabbit about 50 yards down the road - that's the day I decided to breed to him. Have 2 here at home and my buddies are hunting the other 6 out of that litter - May Buzz live on thru them.

Sorry to hear about Buzz. What a great dog! Saw him go at the 05 World hunt with Indiana Pete and three other grands on Saturday afternoon, maybe third round, just don't remember. This pack took the judges on a run across a mile section, back and forth, down in the woods back out on the flat, just all over the place on the rolling hills. There was some judges down on their knees during the few breakdowns, I bet they were glad that hour was over, what a race to remember. dboman

just talked to lynn he was verry attached to old buzz rightfully so . buzz was the best rabbit dog i have seen run when the pack would break down i have seen him go through them and never miss a bark.rember the goot times that ol dog gave you lynn . me lynn and chad ran him the last time he was out he was sick and still gave every thing he had. Darn, hard news. It is kind of neat to see all of the post. They come from all over. Georgia and NC here in the south and all the way out to Missouri, and North into Indiana and Ohio. My whole kennel has Buzz blood in it. When others ask me who one of dogs is out of, I say Buzz and they know.
