Maybe just maybe it is the tracks they are putting up their nose, the miles on their bodies and NOT what they are putting in their mouths! I would suggest that the survival of the fittest is proven in nature to be the strongest to be able to hunt and find food to eat rather than what they eat. Unless one is the male lion who is a me to-er who relies on the others for survival as he has allowed himself to become a creature of welfare and bullying to be able to sustain his life. He cannot do so by himself for very long especially if he has to compete among a group of others that will not allow him to stay on welfare.
