Rules on measured dogs needs changed!!!!!!

the problem is not the rule most try to follow them but if your dog measures in before hunt and someone challenges the height then you measure out ,how is that even close to right. so then you get a card not so you can cheat but to save time and who wants to drive several hours then find out you dog is 1/8" to tall. if you get a card that should be that if you want to challenge put up $50 if you lose challenge money goes to the judges for the day. most people dont want to change the rules they just want the rules to stay the same and not change hunt to hunt or cast to cast.

Why in formats that don't seperate beagles into 13" and 15" classes would a measuring stand even be used??? Seems to me a fixed 15" wicket would be much quicker and leave no doubt that the dog is over 15" when the legs don't touch. 3/8" Steel or PVC wicket would be perfect as it will balance on the dog. Much heavier and the dog will drop from the weight.
