He will be missed that is for sure. Got hunt with him in the UP this year and sure did enjoy talking with him and being around him. All around good guy.

very sorry to hear that. Jim was as nice a guy as i have ever met. I was glad to have him in my home and run dogs/hare with him. hard to find someone that loves chasing hare and talking dogs as much as i do but Jim was for sure one of them. quality dog talk like i had with him is hard to come by and i am sure going to miss that.

R.I.P. Jim, glad I was able to meet and drop dogs with him, wish it would have been more than the one time.

This is an indication of how far out of the game Ive become! Its darn near the end of March and Jim passed in December. I have lost my very best friend. Short of Ed Delaney there isn't a houndsman that I am closer to. Jimmy is and was the best. Him and I became friends between 25 and 30 years ago, and to date I haven't spent as much time in the woods with anyone, and don't want too.
Not afraid to think outside the box or walk outside the crowd.
