Last couple days ground has been frozen and dry, we got on a couple road runners and just couldn't get it done. Was relieved today to wake to 5 inches of puppy snow, dogs ran much better but just couldn't get on any hare that wanted to get out and run big, don't think the dogs ever got more the 250 yards from me, anything over 150 and I couldn't hear them with all the snow on the trees.
