Meachum's Doug

Post by Shady Grove Beagles »

I've heard that this hound and possibly another one that Meachum has have a lot of Maravic's Blue Ninja breeding behind them.
Would love to see a pedigree if possible and any pertinent info. on the dogs you'd care to share.Traits, size foot, check work, nose, mouth, trialed or not,off game, physical appearance,etc.,etc. Basically any thing to give me a good idea about what kind of hound he is.
This hound is in Michigan correct?Has he been bred to? What are his pups looking like?
Many thanks in advance.

I never saw him run. He wasn't around very long because he finished so quick. I can only assume he was a good one. I did see him in the flesh. Gorgeous dog. Typical Blue Ninja look to him, very similar in size, type and color as Blue Ninja. Maybe a little thicker boned than what Ninja was. Arnold Wilson has a bunch of good hounds and has been very successful with this bloodline. I'm sure he could fill you in more. I don't think he ever comes on here. He lives in Pinconning Michigan.

Just bred a bitch to Guinness, waiting for another to come in to take to Doug. Arnold has some great dogs, judged Izzo, Bert and Guinness. Very impressive, powerful males. Would like to have pups off all of them!

Is Meachum's Sport Flash still alive? At stud? Who owns him and where might he be located?
What does Guinness' bottom side look like?

Dana, I would have to guess Sport has been dead a number of years. Guinness' ped is more linebred Ninja. I have a ped here I will try to forward to you thru text as I don't think I can post it here.
