stud dogs that actually reproduce

Post by billy boy »

i believe that the female throws most of the genetics in the litter and a few good females can make any stud dog look good. with that said i would like to hear from you about the best stud on branko bred females and also gay and gay x weir creek hounds. i live close to chattanooga, tn. and anyone please contact me about running dogs. thanks D. Nelson.

I'd like to hear ur theory on why u think the female throws the most genetics in a litter ? I'm no expert but IMO it's 50/50 when talking general genetics . IMO traits are also genetics or traits come from genetics . So if 2 hounds with a similar trait are bred that trait is more apt to show good or bad . I'm a heavy line-breeder so what do I know !! I'm alittle north of u in Lenoir City,TN

I won't talk much about dog cause I don't know much about them. For racing pigeon we race male most of the time so the male gets more attention. What I learned from my own experiences is it takes a champ to produce champ. There has not been one single big race that is won by a no name bloodline. We dropped them of in the middle of no where and whoever gets home firs win. I could guranteed that the high hound female bred to a cull would not produce a rabbit dog. In reality it takes 2 to produce rabbit dog. After breeding over 1000 batches of pigeon this is the key to success breeding program "Like father like son, like mother like daughter. " I advise get yourself a good bitch line and breed to a stud with good pedigree to back him up.
