RIP MWBGF HOF FC Hines Quick Kaddie

I had to put Kaddie put down last night. She had developed a tumor with a very aggressive cancer. Not only did she excel as trial hound and breeder, she was man's best friend. The perfect hound in the kennel, truck and in the field. She ran a rabbit the right way between her legs and her nose. Brains, heart and guts of a lion. I won my first trial with her at Whitewater Valley Beagle Club. Thanks for the always giving 110% ole gal.

Her accomplishments:

2006 MWBGF 13" Derby HOY
2007 MWBGF 13" Female High Hound
2007 MWBGF Overall High Hound-Last hound to receive this award before points system was changed. 1 Pt. for every dog she beat that year.
2007 MWBGF 13" Female Runoff Winner
2011 MWBGF Derby Dam of the Year
2014 MWBGF Derby Dam of the Year
2015 MWBGF Derby Dam of the Year

Produced several hounds that have won, placed in the Midwest including FCGD Jump-N-Run Sweet Thing, FCGD Bokes Creek Billy Direct, 2014 Derby of the Year Buffalo Branch Rowdy Riley, Payne Trails Coal Train, Jump-n-Run Doc's Lucy.

Takes me back to the days of 13" female class battling with Hoog, Mark McKnight , Paul Grebel, Travis Nichols, Chad Peercy, Jamie Rice and all the great guys that had super nice dogs when she ran. Thanks for the memories and your offspring!

I had stated she was my best rabbit dog, Xena was a far better trial dog. Kaddie turned from inside the pack. Xena could control the race.

Yeah, I really liked Xena. After I saw her run before her first win, I told my buddy to stay home with his until Jeff Martin got through running his Xena dog if he was wanting a blue ribbon. Kaddie didn't look her best the time I judged her, but she must have been a heck of a dog to do what she did & produce so well..

As bad as I feel for your loss, I'm so greatful that you got to enjoy her for so many years. I have heard stories and descriptions of how hard she would work to get her rabbit!
