Just an update for those that followed this post. Wormed pups today at two weeks with average weight of 2lbs and they have their eyes open. I ordered some Nupro to supplement Mom and pups diet. She's eating 2-3 times per day with meat and or eggs snack but you can just tell she's lost some muscle mass. I had Mom out but wouldn't let her run a rabbit yet. So another question is when is it safe to start running again? Again, thanks for your comment.

Just a final update, of the five pups I kept the three I wanted and placed one of the two with a 17 yr. old and the other with a 30yr old with 2 young boys. I couldn't be happier to start another chapter in my book of beagles. Thanks to all of you for your help and keep those dogs running.
