Water intoxication

Has anyone ever seen a beagle go down with Water intoxication? Pup delivered that was in transport for 4 days. Pup was put into a kennel and had a full bucket of water to drink from. The next morning the pup was almost dead. Rushed to the Vet....parvo was neg, Distemper was Neg.

There is more to the story than water. Perhaps bad water or kidney problem.

I agree that there is more to this. Four days in transport and how was it cared for? I would think the opposite as in dehydration. Hope it turns out OK.

How old was the pup?

Pup was 7 weeks old....almost died, spent 4 days at the vet and has recovered.

Glad pup made it . I'm going to ship 10 weeks or older has to help on the stress . JMO
