TC g2 45/410 12" barrel

Post by wcbeagle »

Finally got a new G2 45/410 with a 12" barrel today. Beautiful wood on it . Can't wait until Monday to try it out. A couple years ago I hunted in Maine with 2 guys that hunted with Contenders. They both had barrel swivels and a reg. swivel mount on the bottom of the grip with slings on them. Does anyone know where to get this type of setup? I have looked all over the internet and can't find a barrel swivel that will fit the barrel. any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if your not stuck on the wood grips you can go with these grips..i have them on mine and love them http://www.eabco.net/Pachmayr-G2-Grip-a ... 14555.html
or you can go with this option http://www.midwayusa.com/product/373046 ... teel-black

Depending on the conditions you hunt in a lot can be said for a shoulder holster. When the dogs are running a hare you pull the pistol out but when you're hiking through the woods it goes back in the holster where it's nice and protected. No snow getting in the bore, no scrapes and bruises when busting through thickets. Just my take on it, I had swivel studs on my Contender and never used them.
