Greenwells Reggies Passsing

Post by Donnie Durbin »

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news with you that IFC Greenwells Reggie passed away Sunday July 16, 2017. He was 15 years and 4 months old. He passed due to congestive heart failure. Please join me in sending condolences to Terry Gray and his family who are devastated at his passing.
His memory will live on and his great legacy will continue with all his progeny! :(

This is sad news , sorry for the loss Terry ! Reggie will go down as one of the greats, I am glad I bred to him and I'm sure others feel the same , Not sure their will be a dog in a long time that will be talked about as much as Reggie

Love him or hate him I guarantee you he is one of the most talked about beagle ever. I sure am going to miss the old man he had a personality to go with his ability. Going up to Terrys and not seeing the old man sure will be weird. Sorry for your loss Terry.

Let the old dogs sleep
Let the young dogs run
Let em sleep it off
Laying on the porch in the sun
Because someday soon we'll lay him down to rest
And remember him as one of the best.............

Never did get to run with Reggie-- ran with his litter mate brother Thunder Blue.
Raised a litter out of Reggie with very good over all results.
Bought a female pup out of Reggie that made a very nice dog.
Have run with half a dozen other dogs out of Reggie that always impressed me.
Currently have two Reggie grand daughters that are very nice hounds.
Currently have a 6 month old female with Reggie as grand sire top and bottom that is already looking to have the right stuff.
Look at pics. of IFC Maravic's Blue Ninja,FC Maravic's Blue Barry,IFC Greenwell's Reggie and Staten's Blue Samurai, etc.Very similar hounds in looks and characteristics.
And the beat goes on..................
