Hey just wondering if anyone besides me has picked up on that most of th ARHA field trial clubs only place pics of placing hounds at their field trials mostly on their FACEBOOK page instead of sending the pics into the rabbit hunter magazine to be placed in the magazine? I think its neat to see the pics in the Rabbit Hunter magazine especially when I place lol! I have heard some of the club personnel say it is to expensive and IMO if you can't afford to send the pics to the magazine for 3 bucks you are in bad shape. Needless to say the person I overheard say that it is too expensive is no longer trailing or helping a club. Also, I asked a club president if he had sent the pics in to the Rabbit Hunter and he said he did. I called the Rabbit Hunter and they said they never received them needless to say again this club is no longer functioning. IMO FACEBOOK is overrated and like my dad not everyone has FACEBOOK. Also, I have noticed that if a lot of the club members place/win at their trial then the pics get sent in to the Rabbit Hunter lol! JMO I think the pics need to be sent into the Rabbit Hunter magazine and if need be collect some money at the club before the hunt to send them in. I have collected and kept the issues where my hounds have won for memories because we all know these little competitive hounds don't live forverer.

We agree. We like to see the results whether we are at the trial or not.

Back in the 90's when I was running my mutt's in the ARHA. I was on the front cover with them a good many times, that is one thing that I could say for Mr. Everett Morgan, as he was the Founder and owner of the ARHA.. He did not sale the Front cover to folks but he did put the hounds and their owners on the Front Cover, all the time..

I don't even take the Rabbit Hunter these days, so I don't keep up with who is winning now days. I still have my same bloodline, and been breeding and Gun Hunting this old line now for about 30 years.. I have to hunt on a Kubota RTV 900, but it just as much fun as it has always been..
