Thanks guys for posting the pics. Always enjoy seeing them and how they're looking.
James,Diva looks like she's grown a couple of inches already!
Ed,Romeo has an intelligent look. That's one thing I noticed about these pups is that they all seemed to have brains. And if you read these beagle forums that's the #1 thing most guys say they want in a hound.
Ran this morning for a couple of hours before it got too hot.The fields are full of little rabbits and that's where a hound's brains come in to play when they can stay on one of them.

Yep Dana she has a good appetite, she is growing. I can't hardly move in the pen for her. She has a good personality just like Dan. The grandkids are enjoying her and Snoody that's for sure.

My pup call him "Spit" he is having a ball, helps me feed the old hounds, at the Kennels! He is Not Afraid of anything, keeps all the big dogs fired up !

Very smart little fellow, knows his name and comes to me when called, he can fly, very quick !! When he gets to me unties my boot strings Ever Time,

I can't wait to he gets 4 months old, going into my starting Pen.

Mornings and evenings between 7:30 and 8:30 I've got rabbits everywhere!
This morning there were 4 in the yard around the house,2 more as I walked up to the dog kennel and 5 half grown bunnies spread out along the driveway as I headed down to the mailbox.
It's this way every Spring and I think that our property here is the perfect cottontail nursery. It's a combination of bush hogged fields, mowed lawn and very dense adjoining briar thickets.
Looks like we've got a good crop of little rabbits this spring as where ever I run there seems to be bunches of them.
Too bad the temps are running in the 90's already as i don't much care about being out there in the heat.

Yes D.R. that is a pretty pup. Just like you told me. Ed, Diva's brother is a pretty pup too. Have not talked to you in awhile, but still planning on coming up there soon as the tomatoes come in, we gonna run up above Adamsville to pick up a few bushels to can, so may come on over then, and yes I know I have been coming for the last 2 years and have not made it yet. Something always seems to come up, and I don't make it. Shady, Josie did a nice job. I wish all these guys good luck with their pups. Ken[preacherman]

Hello Ken, hope all is well with you folks. By all means stop by... Been looking forward to it :)

Romeo is growing like a weed and has taken up residence by the big dogs. Six years difference between these two but can't tell that when they're both running loops in the pens. Won't be long before I look out there and see both of them up on their roof.
