Artificial sweeteners l

Post by BMBeagles »

I have some friends in california whose dog ate a few
Pieces of trident chewing gum and got sick. They took
It to the vet and the vet charged them $1094.00 for his
Services ! Whatever that was. Vet told them that these
Sweetners cause liver damage ! I find it had to believe
That a few sticks of gum would do much damage to a
Dog. Anyone know anything about this ?

Christmas Day our Doberman ate a whole pack of sugarless gum (artificially flavored) while we were away. I googled it and read dog needs to go to vet. I didn’t take her, she didn’t poop for 2 days but she’s still fine.
