The picture makes me think back a few years. My sun was about the age of your sun when he started going to run the dogs with me. He is now 25 and we still go together at least once a week.It builds a lot of good father son time keep up the good work.

That is a great picture :) It is special to see Dads making quality time with their boys.

Nice looking hounds too and what a great place to spend a beautiful day with your kids!

BOPEYE, THAT'S SURE A FINE LOOKING BOY & SOME FINE LOOKING HOUNDS ALSO. I WOULD LIKE TO TURN THEM LOOSE ON THAT HILL
SIDE BEHIND KEVIN & SIT ON THOSE STEPS WITH A CUP OF COFFEE & TALK ABOUT IT WITH THAT BOY. YOUR DOING A GOOD JOB.

Bunnybuster, thank you for the kind words and I believe I would like to do the same with him. :)

Cindy, thank you for the kind words as well.

Darrin, I don't believe Lady can keep up with her daddy yet, but give her time. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow. :D

Clouse, I believe the bug is starting to bite him good.

J. Murphy, I've only had the priviledge to set up in that tower a couple of times and watch the dogs work, it is nice. I was hoping to see a couple of your hounds the day I was there. Kevin is a super nice fella, I truly enjoy being around him. He makes you feel right at home.

Gordon, I pray to the Lord that I can keep a good relationship with my son, through the Lord's guidance.

Oh how we love our kids, such special gifts from God.

I pray each of you have a blessed New Year. I'll try and not put too many pictures on here, but I just thought this one was too cute to pass up.

May God bless each of you.

No I don't have any there right now J., but I sure wish I could have met you. Isn't it funny how many times a persons paths cross in their lives and
still not get to meet.
I hope to meet you some day as Kevin talks very well of you dogs and you.
Kevin is a class act himself. I just enjoy being around him.
He always makes you feel welcome. :D

Good looking hounds James - I really like the looks of the Copper dog. I have a female that looks just about like that. Maybe I'll stop by and run a couple of my Syris dogs w/ you the next time I'm passing through on my way to NC.

Come on Pete, I'd love to have you.

The black and tan on the far left is a granddaughter to Syris.

All three dogs are doing pretty good thus far, but I'm taking them slow as they are still young and inexperienced. I sure wish I had an old puppy trainer to help them out some. They came back from the starting pen wild as buck indians, so we've been doing some work on commands again.
Don't want to lose 'em. ;)

Sounds good James - I'll let you know the next time I am passing through. I'm off to run the dogs now - see if I can't get a rabbit up in the middle of the day! :D
