Preditor deterent flashing lights.

I have seen these lights placed on polls in the middle of trails at some beagle clubs. the product send out a flashing bright light, that suppose to affect the owl or hawks vision just long enough to allow rabbits to get away. Has anyone used these? how do they work? Where would I find these lights? how much do they cost? Is there anywhere on-line you can purchase these lights? Thanks

I don't know anything about the light you are talking about. However, I knew of a guy a few years back that used blinking Christmas lights as a deterrent for hawks and owls. He swore by them.

I don't know whether they worked or not, but it seems to kinda go on the same principle.

NiteGuard makes a solar-powered deterent light that is NOT bright (to the human eye anyhow!) but seems very effective. Phone: 800-328-6647.
