Swing,
Here is a picture of my Chickadee, she is Rising Sun x China (daughter of Ninja) she is tenacious and a wicked good snow dog. I know you like those blue hounds so I thought I would throw one out there for you. ;) I have four pups left from a litter out of my Yankee x Chickadee that are gorgeous. I will get some pics so somebody can tell me what color to call them. They are gray like Yankee but ticked like Chickadee. Anyone ever here of Gray tick beagles? Thats what they are! Wait till you see!

Bob,
You and about a dozen other guys also! Problem is Chickadee had a BIG litter and were almost all males. I have 3 males and 1 female that I kept for my own. The males are REAL lookers! One of them I'm keeping for my nephew (blue tic) looks just like the mother and a black headed blue tic male and one with same marks as mother but Gray and ticked. I have never seen a gray ticked dog like this myself....ever. The female was already promised to a guy but he is going through a short tough spot so I'm holding onto her for him. Are you sure you don't want a male? You know those turn out real good too......uh hum....if you know what I mean. ;)
Peace,
NYH

NYH,
Boy... Do I know what you mean! But I couldn't be happier with how things turned out. ;) Some things are just meant to be!

Are any of your male pups looking like they might stay 13"?

Bob,
I think the black headed blue tic might do just that. It is not often that I have one stay under and sometimes even go over 15. The blue tic is built like Sparky and he stayed under 13", more like 12.5". Sparky ( Yankees brother) was rabbit CRAZY and needed to get deer proofed it if get what I'm saying. He was rock solid and would have easily placed or won in any trial I put him in if I chose to. Sad thing is though I gave him to my cousin Bobby who helps me out alot when I need it and Bobby put him on a chain. BIG mistake! I hate chains! While he was at work Sparky was up on his dog house roof and jumped over a fence behind the house. Bobby came home to fing him hung. What a freaking waste of an excellent hound. I put alot of work into him and he was worth an awful lot and deserved alot better ending.
