I am trying to find this dog, Last I heard he was with Farrell Smith, but may have been sold to someone in WV. Anyone know where he hangs his paws.

Big Dog... Yeah he is dead! I bought a gyp pup from his last litter and she's running full circles already at 4 months old! Amazing pup! I wish he was still around! I got this pup from a guy down your way... Lewis Smith.

Howard Eagleton (Murl Beagler) has a full littermate brother to him that is also an ARHA LP GR.R.CH. called McCutchens' Eastview Thumper. He's a red dog. I own a solid Black and Tan male pup off Thumper. No white on him at all! Thumper is also throwing some outstanding pups!

Good luck with whatever your doing... and Merry Christmas!

The one that John Davis had was "Red Barn Ace of Spades". Not sure we are talking about the same dog are we?

In NKC/ARHA the dogs name was Red Barn's Ace Of Spades.

His AKC registered name is Blue Sly's Ace Of Spades.

I talked with John Davis at the Little World. Ace is dead.

Ace sure threw some nice pups. I have owned a few.

Jim is correct they are the same dog. I bought Ace as a pup and his AKC name was Blue Sly Ace of Spades and when I sold him the gentlemen named him Red Barn Ace of Spades in NKC so when I bought him back I had to keep his NKC name as such. Ace was out of Shiawassee Bottom Moon and McCutcheon's Eastview Belle. And yes Ace just passed away not long ago. Hope this helps need any more info PM me.

I have two dogs out of Ace. One male one female. And on the Bottom side is Big Meadows. They are only 17 months old and can run the fur off a Rabbit. The male is a little to big, for Trailing, but is one heck of a hunting dog He is 15 1/2", so I guess Trailing is out, but he can sure jump and run a Rabbit, the Female on the other hand is only 13" tall, I had both of them up aganist a R,CH dog last week and they gave that dog all it could handle.

My 4-1/2 month old gyp off Ace ran her first rabbit back to the gun Saturday! Sure seems sad that Ace is gone! Hope the last few litters John got out of Ace are turning out like this little gyp!
